Please be advised that the union has received a written complaint regarding the union elections of last month.

Following his electoral defeat in May, one of the candidate for Local President, has filled a contestation in regards to the nomination process that took place in early April as well as the work performed by the elections trustees. The trustees will be presenting their report at this assembly. In addition, if the trustees recommend a re election members must vote on the trustees during this assembly if necessary .

The union leadership transition that was supposed to take place this weekend was suspended pending further notice. The current union executive will continue to assume their positions until the issue is resolved.
